Chiemsee durch mein iPhoneChiemsee through my iPhone

Veröffentlicht in: Blog, Deutschland, München / Bayern, Photos | 7

If you’re ever in this area, you def. need to go there. Take a boat from „Prien“ or „Gstadt“ and go to Heerenchiemsee (Island) to see a castle King Ludwig II build (he also did Neuschwanstein) or/and go to Fraueninsel, to walk around there, eat in one of many restaurants and just enjoy this tiny little island.

But don’t forget that it can be pretty crowded during the summer time, so do yourself a favor and go there either during the week or not in the peak-season. But that’s the thing with pretty places.

My mom went to border school there and I couldn’t be more jealous. :)

What else can you do at Lake Chiemsee:

wind surfing, sailing, stand-up-paddling, tanning, biking (around the lake), visit a Festival, camping and so much more! I’m sure you’ll love it.

I’ll be back this summer to go windsurfing or sailing and then I will tell you even more about this marvelous place!

So enjoy the pictures I took with my iPhone 6!

Have you already been there and how did you like it?

Beautiful photos. Wish I could understand the German! It looks like the lake I visited near Oldenburg, Germany.

Beautiful place and your photos are still great. I’m still yet to travel to Bavaria or any of Germany so this is great inspiration. It looks so relaxing next to the lake and ice cream looks delicious. Thanks for sharing
